A client should first and foremost be heard by their therapist for therapy to be a productive process. I am a therapist who actively strives to assist clients in deeply analyzing themselves to then use that analysis for self-growth. I work with individuals and help them better understand the relationship they have with themselves, as well as others. I believe every client deserves to feel understood and use identity-affirming approaches to do so.
I acquired a Master's from NYU in Mental Health Counseling, as well as an advanced certificate in LGBT Health, Education, and Social Sciences. I have worked with clients struggling with a variety of issues, such as low self-esteem, substance use, relationship issues, life transitions, depression, and anxiety. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing techniques that have instilled a sense of self-autonomy within my clients.
