Seeking therapy is a powerful step towards healing and self-discovery, and I am here to support you on that journey. I am a compassionate therapist holding a M.S. degree in Mental Health Counseling, specializing in working with children and teens. With a robust background in educational and mental health settings, I understand the complexities of child development and the unique challenges faced by today’s youth.
Creating a safe and trusting environment is my priority, as I recognize that therapy is a non-linear journey. I utilize a trauma-informed approach along with evidence-based practices, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to collaboratively instill effective coping skills in my clients.
Taking an eclectic approach, I meet my clients where they are and employ techniques from psychodynamic and person-centered therapy. I value inclusivity and respect diverse beliefs, fostering a therapeutic dynamic that celebrates cultural differences. With experience addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, life transitions, and family conflict, I guide my clients toward self-awareness and personal growth, honoring their resilience throughout the therapeutic journey. Together, we can navigate the path toward healing and empowerment.
