Jaden is a provisionally licensed mental health counselor with a laser-focused approach and a commitment to empowering people. As a clinical counselor, he believes that the stories we tell ourselves about who we are, where we come from, and what we are capable of being in the aftermath has major long-term effects on how we feel, think, and act. He also knows firsthand that there are certain parts of one's own story that people would rather do anything than confront, despite those same parts being critical for healing. Jaden's method, therefore, places the client in the center of that story with a steady and helping hand, allowing the client to once again be the final authority of their own life. All throughout, he adopts a stance that is both challenging and non-blaming, knowing that asking the right questions is oftentimes better than imposing an answer.
Jaden spent his teenage years as a practicing Orthodox Jew battling various forms of OCD. As such, he has a vested interest in combatting the sorts of mental illnesses that like to convince people they are beyond help. He specializes in OCD and Scrupulosity, but also has appreciable experience with helping those suffering from PTSD, anxiety, depression, abusive relationships, emotional dysregulation, and drug dependency. When he isn’t counseling, Jaden indulges in classic literature, writing poems, lifting weights, practicing martial arts, and delighting in the abundance of nature.
Jaden got his BA in general psychology Binghamton University with summa cum laude distinction. Following this, he stayed in for several more years Binghamton to work with marginalized and impoverished clients that didn't have insurance, earning his MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University concurrently.
