I believe in the power of creating bonds with others to help them feel safe, accepted and understood. I have a strong belief that everyone is unique and not every solution will work for everyone which is why I will work alongside you to help you feel heard and work with you to come up with strategies that work best for you. I typically work towards a humanistic and person-centered approach in counseling. I enjoy helping clients explore what they are thinking and feeling in order to come up with solutions that are tailored to their needs. I will do my best to encourage you to be the best version of yourself that you can be while also accepting yourself for who you are. I enjoy making a positive change in an individual’s life through encouragement, understanding and warmth. Sometimes, we may feel alone and feel like no one is there to listen - however, I will be there for you every step of the way if given the opportunity!
I have experience working with children, adolescents and adults in helping them overcome life’s challenges and creating a safe and non-judgmental space. I specialize in working with individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, mood fluctuations, stress and trauma.
I offer an approach that is mindful, motivational and at a pace that is comfortable for you. I specialize in working with individuals looking for help in processing their emotions and thinking patterns and helping to respond in more positive ways.
