If you're looking for extra support and guidance through challenging times in your life, or if you are ready to move in a new direction, I look forward to working with you to achieve this. As a culturally sensitive, caring listener, I aim to put you at ease. Life can be stressful and overwhelming and I would like to help you to gain more confidence, awareness and independence in your life. You do not need to struggle alone; allow me to be your safe space where you can share your feelings and worries. Together, we will work in a collaborative, supportive, and at times, gently challenging atmosphere. Psychotherapy can help you navigate roadblocks, deepen self-compassion and strengthen your well-being.
I’m passionate about assisting people who are experiencing life transitions, anxiety, and depression. I am very familiar with the LGBTQ community including initial considerations in transgender family acceptance. Honoring your strengths and softening your pressures are my main goals. Couples struggling with relationship conflict, communication, boundaries and polyamory issues can benefit from my thoughtful methods. I support families with members coping with Alzheimer’s, clients living with substance use disorders, teens/adults dealing with mental health issues and educational delays.
You are more complex than your thoughts. I value diverse clients who are ready to make adjustments and practice new healing patterns, who hope to obtain a more loving relationship with themselves. I use a trauma sensitive, Person centered approach. As a certified yoga teacher, I include guided meditation, somatic exercises, breath awareness and tapping (EFT). All interventions are tailored for you. Hours are flexible and all sessions are virtual (video/phone).
