Having obtained my MS in Rehabilitation Counseling as well as Mental Health Counseling from the University at Buffalo, I specialize in anxiety, depression, self-esteem, ADHD, and trauma issues. Further, I possess my NYS CASAC master counselor credential, specializing in substance use disorder. I strongly believe in the benefits of educating individuals regarding intersectionality amongst identities throughout the therapeutic journey.
Implementing a strengths-based, solution-focused approach is key in the process of helping individuals identify constructible solutions to issues as opposed to solely fixating on problems. By focusing on one’s strengths from a client-centered perspective, treatment becomes highly individualized, dependent upon one’s unique experiences, circumstances, and characteristics, thereby improving the probability of producing a successful treatment outcome.
I view therapy as an opportunity to evolve into the best version of ourselves for improvement of overall well-being.
