Self-Identity Issues
Therapy is a careful, heartfelt, active, spontaneous, and relational process to further development as well as a brave space to identify unhelpful ways of thinking and being in the world. Lindsey is a skilled listener who supports young adult and adult clients in learning and practicing the necessary skills to create a supportive environment where they can trust themselves and others.
Lindsey is passionate about bringing creativity and imagination through the use of narrative and expressive therapies using a combination of art therapy, drama therapy, poetry, movement, and somatic embodiment. She will help you gain clarity through defining your purpose, develop self-esteem, and nurture the relationships that align with your values.
Like art, counseling can be a sacred personal space where healing, creativity, and self-discovery intertwine, guiding one towards wholeness and resilience.
Lindsey received her BA in Arts and Humanities at University College London, a M.S. in Applied Sociology and a MA in Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UC and has 5 years of clinical experience in Drama Therapy as a Registered Drama Therapist and 4 years of experience in person-centered and intermodal expressive therapies, existential, and relational psychology. As an integrative therapist, Lindsey also uses other approaches to treat developmental and relational trauma, specifically Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Written Exposure Therapy (WET). Her techniques honor the backgrounds of each of her clients, focusing on personal and professional growth. Lindsey's work is rooted in a deep belief that through connection and creative expression, everyone has the potential to thrive and heal from the past.
