Have you ever thought about what your life would be like if you could overcome the obstacles
that hold you back? Sometimes in life we know what we want but don’t know how to get there
or feel so stuck that we become discouraged before we even take the first step to change.
Many things can hinder our self development and growth such as life circumstances,
relationships, anxiety, trauma, stress, or feelings of unworthiness which in turn, blocks our ability
to maintain clarity and focus and keeps us from working on ourselves and our goals.
As a compassionate, strength-based mental health counselor with personal experience in many
aspects of overcoming challenges, I am committed to helping others navigate through life by
identifying and overcoming the obstacles that impede them from reaching their goals and
true-potential. I believe in taking an integrative, client-centered approach with an emphasis on
respect, trust, collaboration and empowerment. Empowering my clients to access a greater
understanding of their past experiences to build resiliency and create a long standing,
meaningful change is my passion.
I earned my M.S. in Mental Health Counseling from Mercy College and have experience in
working with children, adolescents, adults, individuals and families, on a variety of issues
including depression, relationship issues, self-esteem, codependency, domestic violence,
trauma and PTSD. Some types of therapy I incorporate are CBT, Solution-Focused Brief
Therapy, Trauma Focused, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing.
You no longer have to be confined to your circumstances or past. No matter where you are at
on your journey for change, as your therapist, I am here to assist you. Let’s bridge the gap of
where you are today to where you want to be. Allow me to take this journey with you.
